Daria Desiderio

Daria is a Sunnyside resident who has spent nearly twenty-years getting to know the neighborhood. She decided to focus on what she does best, help locals feel safe, provide excellent service and ease the day-to-day for others.

From a very young age, Daria knew she liked to have things a certain way. Most kids would let their bedrooms overflow with dirty laundry, empty food containers and toys - everywhere. She would spend hours alphabetizing cassette tapes, dusting vinyl records, making her bed and color-coordinating her closet.

Though not the norm, it paid off. These skills helped her to understand the need for a system, eventually allowing her to grow as the right hand to several high-end service businesses throughout NYC. As a single Mom to one handsome little boy, she recognized that the daily commute into the city for yet another business wasn’t what she wanted. Work-life balance is everyone’s focus right now. Throughout Covid-19, the one thing she was able to manage, was the safety and cleanliness of her own home. This sparked an idea. Why not do what you love, help others and create a business that allows everyone what they need and want: the same safe and serene space she has always taken great pride in.
